How do you feel about uncomfortable?  About feeling uncomfortable?  If you enjoy being slightly unnerved, not knowing who exactly to feel for sorry for…or more likely feeling sorry for each character at different times, but not sure how much slack to cut them because they each share in the blame…..this is a night at the theatre for you!

I know you’ve heard it before… and let’s face it, you’ve probably just ignored it, thinking…that’s an extra step, I don’t have butcher’s twine, the meat looks fine, it’s going to cook no matter what…..but trust me, there *is* a good reason to do the step, buy the twine and tie that meat!

If you love words or writing—this play is for you.  It’s one of those plays where early on, you hear a line and you think to yourself:  “That’s it. That says it perfectly. I’m going to have to remember this line.”  And you repeat it to yourself (silently, of course, you are in a theatre after all) to commit it to memory…but the play is still going on, and before you get it to commit-to-memory stage, another line is said that lands just as forcefully, and now you want to remember that one, too…..and this happens a few more times and you finally just say to yourself, “I’m going to have to buy this play.”  And get back to paying attention and waiting for the next perfect line to be dropped in your lap.
